COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS CONTINGENCY PLANNING

As part of our contingency planning  for #Coronavirus we are trying to minimise the number of patients attending the practice.

As a practice our priority is to keep  our practice team & patients safe.

Please read to following information and advice carefully and pass share with friends and family.

  • The Government and the NHS have updated all the information and advice on Covid -19. If you have a NEW CONTINUOUS COUGH OR HIGH TEMPERATURE [37.8 DEGREES OR HIGHER]  you should stay at home for 7 days.  This has been increased to 14 days if a member of your household has any symptoms. The 14 days applies to ALL MEMBERS OF THE HOUSEHOLD. DO NOT COME TO THE SURGERY OR ASK FOR A HOME VISIT

  • SOCIAL ISOLATION to protect the vulnerable is now recommended. For advice CLICK HERE

  • If you have serious symptoms that you cannot manage at home or that go on    for longer than 7 days, please go to NHS 111 online. Only call NHS 111 if you    cannot get help online. DO NOT COME TO THE SURGERY OR ASK FOR A HOME VISIT
  • PRESCRIPTIONS: You can order your prescription via our online service. If you are not already registered, please download the NHSapp. Your ID will be verified by taking a photo of your ID (passport, driving licence or European identity card) and recording a short video of your face while you say 4 numbers.For more information visit: https://www.nhs.uk/using-the-nhs/nhs-services/the-nhs-app/
  • Prescriptions requests can also be dropped off in the large grey post box outside the practice.
